SOLD!

We finally sold our home in Vegas! The house closed today. It has been quite the process but feel very fortunate to have been able to negotiate a short sale and had a great buyer who stuck with us through the whole process.
Long story short...We moved to Utah a year ago. We decided not to put the house on the market because we could not sale it for what we paid for it. The bank told us there was nothing they could do to help us because we were not living in the home. We had renters in the home for six months. During this process we were told by several people to give the house back to the bank, but we decided we would do all we could before that would happen. We continued to call the bank and finally the beginning of December of 2008 they said we could negotiate a short sale. We put the house on the market that day. With it being winter we did not think we would get any bites, but a few days later we had an offer! Working with an awesome Las Vegas Realtor and Angie feeling like she was working part time selling the home:) five months later it was a done deal!
Thanks to all our friends and neighbors who helped take care of our home while we lived out of state. We could not have done this without your help. It is sad to leave this chapter in our lives but at the same time it is a huge relief. We still love Vegas and all our friends, we hope to come visit soon!
